The product level innovations introduced in Muulam® include:

• Create a software platform that can work with multiple modalities thereby enabling faster product development and cost effective software. The typical paradigm has been to treat each NDT modality as grossly separate and requiring separate software. The Muulam® breaks this barrier.
  
  
• Once the platform supports multiple modalities, it offers the opportunity to integrate the results from a number of techniques (Ultrasound, Eddy Current etc) – Data Fusion. This is increasingly required for testing of more complex materials such as Aerospace Composites and in applications where safety requirements are critical such as Nuclear Power Plants.
  
  
• The platform also presents the data in an intuitive fashion – Imaging & Visualization. This enables the easy handling of voluminous data and also increases productivity of inspection teams.
  
  
• Further the platform leverages new standards being introduced such as DICONDE, which will enable users to transfer data across systems of different manufacturers.
